Bridgestone Fleet Care and Pilot Company have collaborated on advancing tire monitoring services through an expanded service network of 300 Pilot and Flying J travel centers. The new network aligns with the efficiency, extension and ease values of the Bridgestone E8 commitment and furthers Pilot Company’s commitment to providing the trucking industry with innovative solutions that are designed to increase safety and efficiency for customers. 

In 2021, Bridgestone made a minority investment in Kodiak Robotics. Kodiak Robotics is a leading U.S.-based self driving trucking company that develops and deploys long-haul shipping trucks with level 4 autonomy. Bridgestone integrates smart-sensing tire technologies into Kodiak’s autonomous trucks and the companies will work to pilot future mobility technologies to enable safer, more sustainable autonomous operations.

In 2021, Bridgestone and Einride partnered to enable technical collaboration, pairing Einride’s vehicle intelligence with Bridgestone’s smart sensing tire data to drive operational efficiency, safety and sustainability for fleets. Bridgestone is also the exclusive tire supplier for Einride electrified and autonomous trucks in the U.S. market.
